Terms of Service
Last updated 3 September 2026. These terms cover venore.events and the Venore app.
The service
Venore (operated by SC-I Co) lets organizers list events and sell tickets, and lets attendees discover events, buy tickets and hold them in a digital wallet. By creating an account or buying a ticket you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 18 to organize events. Some events set their own minimum age for entry.
Tickets and payment
- The price shown at checkout, including Venore’s service fee, is the full amount you pay. There are no fees added afterwards.
- Payment is processed by Stripe. Your ticket is issued when payment is confirmed and appears in your wallet with a unique QR code.
- A ticket admits one person once. Copying, reselling for profit, or altering a ticket may lead to it being voided without refund.
- Each event states its refund policy before you pay. Where an event is cancelled by the organizer, you are entitled to a refund of the ticket price. Statutory rights are unaffected.
- Venore may act as the merchant of record for some events and the organizer for others; the confirmation email names the seller for your order.
For organizers
- You must have the right to run the event you list and to use any images or names in your listing. New organizers and events are reviewed before they go live; we may decline or remove listings.
- You are responsible for delivering the event as described, for handling refunds under your stated policy, and for complying with venue, licensing, safety and consumer law.
- Ticket revenue is paid out through Stripe. Payouts may be delayed or held where an event has not yet taken place, where refund or dispute risk is elevated, or where we are required to by law or by Stripe.
- Attendee data you receive through Venore may be used only to run your events and, where the attendee has consented, to tell them about your future events. You must honour unsubscribes and blocks immediately, and you must not sell or transfer attendee data.
- Venore’s fee is shown on the pricing page and at the time you create each event.
Community rules
Event discussions and organizer messages must be lawful, respectful and relevant. We remove content and suspend accounts that harass, deceive, spam or infringe on others’ rights. Reports are reviewed by our team, and every moderation action is logged.
Accounts
Keep your sign-in details private and tell us straight away if you think your account has been used without permission. You can delete your account by emailing us; ticket and payment records are retained as required by law.
Liability
Events are run by their organizers, not by Venore. We are not responsible for the content, conduct, safety or cancellation of any event beyond processing refunds you are entitled to. To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid through Venore in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date above will change and material changes will be announced in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Questions: hello@venore.events.
